The Vesta Men’s Senior Squad
The focus of our Senior Men’s squad is to place within the top 30 crews at the Head of the River Race and to achieve medal wins at the major regattas, including International Ghent Regatta, Metropolitan Amateur Regatta, Henley Royal Regatta and the British Rowing Championships. We were finalists in the Britannia Challenge Cup in 2009.
We are seeking to attract athletes and coxswains who will develop to a standard to compete successfully in the club and senior events at Henley Royal Regatta. We have a good track record of developing inexperienced rowers to a high level.
We will be holding a squad briefing on Wednesday 8 September with a first gym/water session on Saturday 11 September.

Building on the tremendous success of our 2010 Summer season, the focus of our Senior Women’s squad is to place within the top 15 crews at the Women’s Head of the River Race and to achieve wins at the major regattas, including International Ghent Regatta, Metropolitan Amateur Regatta, Henley Women’s Regatta and the British Rowing National Championships.
We are seeking to attract athletes and coxswains who will develop to a standard to compete successfully in the club, senior and elite rowing and sculling events at Henley Women’s Regatta, and additionally those who may be looking to progress beyond Club level. We have a good track record of developing our own members to be able to achieve success at the top events.
Our season opening squad briefing on Thursday 16 September, with the first water session scheduled for Saturday 18 September.
